Skill objective

I would really like to learn how to splice a picture in Photoshop to have it cut out by the laser cutter.  I think that this would be really cool and a different way to preserve a picture.  I need to learn how to use the laser cutter to do this.  Maybe I need to start out with some smaller projects.
